{"id":11032,"date":"2024-07-17T11:46:40","date_gmt":"2024-07-17T04:46:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/huttons.com.vn\/?p=11032"},"modified":"2024-07-17T11:56:25","modified_gmt":"2024-07-17T04:56:25","slug":"hcmc-prepares-to-reorganize-80-wards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/huttons.com.vn\/en\/hcmc-prepares-to-reorganize-80-wards-11032","title":{"rendered":"Ho Chi Minh City prepares to reorganize 80 wards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>The plan to reorganize 77 wards subject to arrangement and 3 adjacent wards was approved by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council at the closing session of the 17th meeting, on the morning of July 17.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the plan, before 2030, 80 wards in districts 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 11, Binh Thanh, Go Vap, and Phu Nhuan will be arranged and merged to reduce to 39 wards.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Reasons to reorganize<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The wards had to be reorganized because they did not meet the standards of units and the classification of administrative units of the National Assembly Standing Committee. Photo: VnExpress<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Currently, Ho Chi Minh City has 16 districts, 5 districts and 1 affiliated city with 312 wards, communes and towns. Of these, 21 district-level units and 223 commune-level units have met the population standard of over 100%. In addition to the 80 wards mentioned above, from 2023-2030, Ho Chi Minh City will also have 57 wards and 1 town that will be arranged but not implemented due to specific factors, including 6 wards that have been merged in the period 2019-2021.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Details of the plan to reorganize 80 wards<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>These 80 wards will be arranged according to 38 different options:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>6 plans to merge 3 wards into 1.<\/li>\n<li>23 plans to merge 2 wards into 1.<\/li>\n<li>9 plans to adjust administrative boundaries to establish new wards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After approval, the city will complete the project and send it to the Ministry of Home Affairs for appraisal and submission to the Government. It is expected that at the end of September, the Government will submit it to the National Assembly Standing Committee for approval. After that, the localities will carry out the merger.
